Collage is Lakmé’s ammonia-based permanent hair color; Collage+ is its current generation, formulated with High Deposit Color (H.D.C.) technology: greater deposit, more intensity, and higher coverage. Its key active ingredient is the Sunflohair™ Complex (phospholipids + sunflower oil): its phospholipids penetrate the cortex and carry the colorants there, then restore the lipid matrix by forming a protective layer that smooths the cuticles. Its antioxidant properties neutralize free radicals (sun, sea, chlorine) that dull the color. Pyrazol adds intensity to copper and red shades. Free from para-phenylenediamine (PPD).

Series: /00 cool natural · /60 brown · /13 beige (green-yellow) · /17 ash (blue-green, turquoise) · /20 iridescent · /30 golden · /40 copper · /50 mahogany · /90 red. The numbering is the same across all four Lakmé color ranges.

Lakmé Color Developer comes in 6, 9, 18, 28, and 38 volume (1 L format). Always mix Collage with a Lakmé developer. Prepare the mixture at the time of application: the reaction starts as soon as the two parts come into contact.

First, diagnose the percentage of gray hair. Collage+ has been reformulated so that a smaller amount of base is enough: the /00 base is a cool natural shade that adds body to the formula, while the desired tone provides the reflection. Collage bases are also recommended on their own for hard-to-cover gray hair (thick, resistant).

1. Consultation: natural base, percentage of gray hair, hair condition, color history.
2. Formula: /00 base + desired tone according to the table above; add a Mix Tone to intensify or neutralize a tone.
3. Mix: 1:1.5 (60 mL + 90 mL) with the developer selected according to the desired lift.
4. Application: apply to the roots first on regrowth, then to the lengths if needed. Process for 30 min (up to 45 min on resistant hair).
5. Rinsing: emulsify, rinse, use Teknia Color Stay Shampoo (acidic pH that closes the cuticle) + Conditioner for 2 min.
6. Maintenance: Gloss or Glaze between Collage applications to refresh the lengths without creating root effect; Color Stay at home.

The 12/ series (Collage Clair, “super blonding”) lifts a light natural base by 4 to 5 levels while depositing a cool tone. Mix at a 1:2 ratio (60 mL + 120 mL), using the developer selected according to the table above—in practice, 38 V for maximum lift—and process for 45 to 60 min. The ratio and processing time therefore differ from the standard series: do not confuse them.

High-lift colors work on natural hair only: on a previously colored or dark base, use k.blonde followed by toner or Glaze. The recommended base levels are shown on the Collage shade chart.

Chroma is Lakmé's ammonia-free permanent hair color, reformulated around OF5: a 100% plant-derived molecule with an affinity for the hair fiber that carries colorants and conditioning active ingredients while slowing their oxidation. During mixing, the colorants remain separate and small, allowing more of them to penetrate the cortex before they grow and become pigments. Measured results: +15% durability and wash resistance, +30% conditioning effect and softness, High Coverage shades 13% more vibrant. Formula tested under dermatological supervision for optimal scalp comfort.

Mix Tones 0/

1. HC shade: apply the desired tone directly, 1:1 with Developer 18 V (or 28 V for 3 levels), 40 min.
2. Standard shade with gray coverage: desired tone + /00 base, 1:1 with Developer 18 V or 28 V, 30 min.
3. Refresh mid-lengths and ends: Chroma + Developer 6 V, 1:2, 10 min, without removing it from the roots.
4. Rinse: Teknia Color Stay Shampoo, sulfate-free, Conditioner for 2 min; Color Stay Treatment for 5 min in the salon.

Gloss is Lakmé's demi-permanent color: ammonia-free (MEA), PPD-free, acidic pH, vegan, with arginine (a natural amino acid) and organic jojoba oil. High shine, lightens up to 1 level, covers 60 to 70% of gray hair, lasts up to 25 washes. It's “Collage's ally”: refresh lengths and ends between permanent color services, tone, blend regrowth, and work tone-on-tone.

The processing time shown in the Lakmé comparison chart (20 to 30 min) is the standard range; the product sheet specifies 10-20 min at 6 V and 30-40 min at 9 V. Mix Tones Gloss (e.g., 0/20 violet) to intensify or neutralize.

Glaze is a demi-permanent color treatment with acid technology: it brings hair back to its optimal pH (4.5 to 6) and seals the cuticle for maximum shine. Its cream texture treats hair like a mask. No lightening: it does not penetrate the hair fiber, alter melanin or artificial color, or create root regrowth. Vegan formula, up to 96% natural, with Borealine® (recycled black spruce bark, antioxidant) to protect color from UV rays and washing. Proven conditioning after bleaching versus placebo.

1. Metal Remover (Glaze Premium service): section the hair, apply 2 to 6 sprays per section, leave for 1 to 2 min, do not rinse. 300 mL ≈ 75 services.
2. Even base: Glaze coats existing color; the key is achieving the most even lightening possible. On very porous hair, apply L2 (porosity regulator) before Glaze.
3. Activator: cream for precise bowl-and-brush application (foils, Neo Blocking); liquid for quick application at the shampoo basin with the Glaze applicator.
4. Mix 1 : 1, application, process for 10 to 20 min; 10 min for a quick refresh of existing color.
5. Rinse: Teknia Color Stay Conditioner or Deep Care Conditioner.

Teknia Refresh shampoos and masks (Coral Red, Saffron Copper, Cocoa Brown, Violet Lavender) complete the picture: lasts 2 to 4 washes, 5 min, to maintain the tone at home.

1. Metal Remover before any technical service: 2 to 6 sprays per section, 1 to 2 min, do not rinse. Neutralizes metals in the water that make lightening heat up and cause toners to shift.
2. k2.0 Protector Mist throughout the hair, 5 min. Optional: i.plex Premium Bond 10 mL per 40 g of lightener (see sheet 5).
3. Mix the chosen lightener at a 1:2 ratio with 9 V developer; prepare a second bowl with 6 V for the fringe and fragile areas.
4. Apply according to the technique: Clay in a V shape on lengths and ends with a brush; Cream in veils and woven highlights; advanced freehand, leaving 5 mm at the roots, then apply 9 V to the roots; Compact Powder in foils.
5. Leave on, monitoring until the desired lightening base is reached (30 to 60 min for powders).
6. Rinse; Teknia Extreme Cleanse (once or twice) or Deep Care Shampoo; k2.0 Restore Hair Mask for 10 min, then rinse.
7. Tone: k.blonde toner or Glaze (table below).
8. At home: Teknia White Silver Shampoo for 1 to 3 min + White Silver Mask for 5 min; Deep Care Drops on the ends.

The six k.blonde toners (Silver, Pearl, Rose, Sand, Peach, Clear) are mixed at a 1:2 ratio (60 mL + 120 mL) with 6 V developer and applied at the basin to damp hair, from roots to ends, then rinsed. Processing time is judged by eye: from a few minutes for light neutralization up to 20 min for full tone (product sheets indicate 2-5 min for Pearl and 10-20 min for Sand). The rule for the base applies to all: tone a dry, even lightening base, and the result depends on the remaining yellow.

The “target background” column applies general color theory (the paler the background, the clearer the cool or pastel toner); exact matches are in the k.blonde toner chart included with the offer. Glaze alternative: Clear, 9/03 Vanilla, 10/27 Amethyst, 9/12 Grey Lilac… 1 : 1 with the 5 V activator, 10 to 20 min, up to 15 washes.

Neo Blocking is Lakmé's version of color blocking: contrasting blocks of color placed in precise shapes. It speeds up the process because only part of the hair needs to be bleached. Possible harmonies: tonal (same color, varied saturation), monochromatic (from darkest to lightest), triadic (three equally spaced colors, one dominant), complementary (opposites, vibrant contrast), or analogous (adjacent colors, soft result). Dark shades make the face look narrower, while light shades make it look longer: choose the placement according to face shape.

Disulfide bond fortifier: increases hair’s resistance to breakage by 44% during reconstruction or chemical treatments, from the first application, without changing the service routine (ratio or processing time). Active ingredients: Keravis™ (penetrates the hair fiber and forms a film that strengthens the surface) and Prodew®500 (a moisturizing amino acid complex that repairs damaged surfaces, improves manageability, and helps color last). Paraben-free, PEG-free, and free of mineral oils.

Reconstructive treatment applied like a mask after rinsing out the chemical service: it provides the structural elements needed to combat hair aging and maintain its internal architecture. Keratec™ (a natural keratin derivative) mimics keratin fibers; Tahitian monoi and macadamia oil hydrate, nourish, and prevent dehydration. Visible results from the very first application.

1. During the service: Measure Premium Bond into the bowl according to the chart (step 1).
2. After rinsing: distribute Keratech i.Power through towel-dried hair like a mask, leave on, rinse (processing time: see the 40 × 60 application guide included with the Salon Kit).
3. Retail: Hair Perfection 100 mL (step 3) to extend the results at home.

Anti-aging protective mask that repairs deeply and extends the results of the i.plex treatment performed in the salon; progressive, natural and long-lasting action. Same trio of active ingredients: Keravis™, Keratec™, monoi and macadamia. Application: distribute through washed, damp hair, leave on for 5 to 10 min, rinse.

The 2026 range's in-salon protocols will be added upon receipt of the application guides; until then, the sessions above (classic line) remain the reference.

New 2026 ranges: True Curls (Shampoo, Conditioner, Mask, Definer Cream, Enhancer Balm, Refresh Mist; Curly and Wavy packs), Pro-Ageing (Shampoo, Mask, Serum 50 mL, Scalp Serum 100 mL, to be recommended as a salon ritual and then for retail) and Frizz Control Anti-humidity.

Teknia ranges are compatible with one another; the ritual is a salon + at-home combination based on the client's lifestyle profile, not just her hair type. The more thorough the consultation, the more effective the ritual.

All three K.Form systems share two technologies: thio-technology, which prevents exceeding the recommended processing time, and Keravis™, a plant-based active ingredient that penetrates the cuticle to strengthen it from within. Its small proteins enter the cortex and boost hydration; its heavier components (silicones) lubricate and strengthen the cuticle. When incorporated into the neutralizing step, it leaves hair three times stronger. Always add i.plex Premium Bond: 10 mL per 80 mL of perm lotion or 100 mL of straightening cream.

The exact rinsing and neutralizing times are listed on the kit instructions: see the technical manual. Never leave on for more than 30 min.

1. Pre-wash: use Teknia Frizz Control Shampoo, rinse, and towel-dry.
2. Apply the relaxer cream with a brush and gloves, from 1 cm from the scalp to the ends, quickly and evenly (10 to 20 min application time).
3. Smooth with a wide-tooth comb, keeping the hair straight without pulling; flat irons are optional.
4. Leave on for 20 to 40 min, checking with the knot test: starting at 10 min, then every 5 min, take a small section, remove excess product, and tie a knot 3 cm from the scalp; if the knot stays tied, the processing time is sufficient.
5. First rinse with lukewarm water for 7 to 10 min, towel-dry, detangle gently.
6. Neutralizing balm from roots to ends, smooth with fingers then a comb, keeping the hair straight; 15 min.
7. Final rinse for 5 to 7 min with lukewarm water; apply Teknia Frizz Control Treatment for 5 to 10 min, then rinse.
8. Dry with a hair dryer, detangle with fingers only; brush when about 20% moisture remains.
